Being a commerce student, you cannot join B.Sc. Home Science. But you can join B.A. Home Science.
Eligibility criteria for home science:
Candidates for admission to this programme must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or an equivalent exam.
Various colleges require an applicant to obtain a minimum score of 50% on the 12th grade exam or an equivalent exam.
Students interested in pursuing a postgraduate course in home science should hold a graduate degree in home science or a related discipline from a recognised university.
Candidates for the diploma course in home science should have completed 10+2 or an equivalent level.
To be admitted to a home science undergraduate programme, several colleges require completion of a 10+2 with physics, chemistry, or biology as courses.
Candidates interested in pursuing a PhD in home science should have earned a master's degree in home science or a related discipline from a reputable university.
