Admission Process- Admission shall be done through an objective type entrance test (UGET). Eligibility Criteria 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics from a recognized University/Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/ PH category candidates/ in-service nominees of HP) in the above subjects. Horticulture is the branch of Agricultural Science that deals with the cultivation of vegetables, plants, flowers, herbs, fruits, shrubs, bushes, gardens, and landscaping for gardens, ornamental trees, maintaining nurseries, green houses, orchards and plantations and also floriculture or cultivation of flowers.
