Actually, if you are doing it from IIMs then it matters. But if you are doing it from private institute then your starting package will be around Rs. 25000-35000.

With healthcare management course you can work with various state government or national level health programs as an administrator, while after hospital administration you can work with various corporate hospitals as an Administrator, Quality Manager, Operations Manager etc. To enrol in an MBA in Healthcare & Hospital Management you need to have at least a Bachelor's degree with 50% from a recognised university. It could be a good choice for students with a background in Science, medicine, physiotherapy or other related field.

Hi,
I personally feel one should choose their specialisation on the basis of their interests. Because if you like the work that you are doing then you will perform well (which will eventually pay you more in the long run) and you will also be satisfied with your job (which will give you job satisfaction).
So, I would suggest you to opt for whichever area appeals to you the most ad work hard for it.

Hi,
There is no good college in Chandigarh for hospital management. You can try for IIHMR-Jaipur or Bangalore.

Hi Surbhi,
Opportunities are moderate. You should check the skilled occupation list and find out which occupations are in demand and will be fruitful for your career. You should also email the universities about career outcomes. Check this
