Yes, of course, you are eligible for BHM degree course after completing Diploma, as per my suggestion, you must opt for a degree course in hotel management. One of my friends is pursuing Bachelor in Hotel Management from Quantum University, Roorkee. He is in the second year of his course and enjoying his journey so far. The curriculum of the course is designed by some of the best brains of the industry. He is getting international exposure. Regular visits to prestigious hotels give him insights into practical aspects of the industry. He is not only getting a degree but also growing professionally. He told me that some of the best profe

Pre preparation is must, you should have set goal even before the scheduled interview on which hotel you would prefer to work. Complete background preparation about the company you would want to work or applying for. Technical knowledge on the department you prefer to work. General knowledge and what's happening in your city and in world. Most importantly if you speak about your hobbies then you should have 100% knowledge about the same. Grooming and your uniform should be crisp.

Backlog to understand, its not the marks that shape your career, its your character which put everything you have into what you are doing. So in short If u got the marks, passed all the subjects but failed to develop a character then those marks are of no use. So marks are not the only deciding factor just go with the flow and try to be yourself at hard times.

In IHMs you spend less as it is a public body and in Iims you would have to spend no less than 4 Lacs for the course which increases with the various cities as it is a private body. If finances is not a concern and for any reason if you'd like to join an IIHM, you can. Also please do not go as to what private colleges advertise most of the time. It's mostly over hyped.
