Being an alumnus of LPU, I can share with you the detail of hotel management programmes offered by LPU after BCom. My one friend did his hotel management programme there. LPU offers the following 2 programmes for hotel management after BCom.
MSc. (Hotel Management)
MBA (Tourism and Hospitality)
Eligibility for admission is different for both.
For MSc, you can directly take admission without any entrance exam or interview such as the LPUNEST if you have a minimum of 50% marks in your BCom.
For MBA, you should have a minimum of 55% marks in BCom. Moreover, if you've qualified for any national test like CAT/MAT/XAT, then have to qualify for the LPUNEST and interview conducted by LPU.
Let me share a few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU :
Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts.
Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges.
Uni-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named Uni Hotel with 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff.

LPUs Hotel Management and Tourism Discipline prepares the students through an industry-endorsed curriculum and intensive service-oriented practicals with industry exposure in excellent infrastructure. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. There are students from over 70+ countries on the campus. The School trains its students in the campus hotel named University Hotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable students to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gadgets. We have four training restaurants to teach students about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. LPU labs are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. LPU Hotel Management and Tourism Discipline is the gamut of research activities that make it a unique academic environment that stimulates creativity and critical thinking and provides impetus to recruiting, supporting, and developing highly-skilled motivated researchers. It is worth noticing that to motivate students, LPU keeps on organizing different workshops & events and also invites top personalities from the industry. LPU students of the School of Hotel Management and Tourism have got 100% placement with prestigious global establishments this year. LPU students of the year 2015 passing out batch have been placed at allowances/salary up to Rs 22.5 Lacs per annum. Their employers are top hotels, resorts, palaces groups, and airways including Ritz-Carlton (USA), Qatar Airways (Doha), Oberoi Group, Zuri, Grand Hyatt, Sarovar, Broncos, and more. Many of them have already joined their duties in top countries and Indian Cities at coveted posts. The highest salary offered was 8.5 LPA.
