Lovely Professional Universit is good for B.Sc in hotel management in terms of placements. The highest package offered for Hotel Management is 8.5 LPA and the average package is 2.4 LPA. My friend completed his BMHCT degree this year in 2021.
Very good placements record with minimum 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) till date and the placement is with brands like Cox & Kings, Carnival Cruise, Jet Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, etc.
Internship: Industry internships in top national and international five-star hotel brands like The Leela Palace, ITC, Taj, Oberoi, The Grand, Marriott, etc.
The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year.

The Eligibility is as follows :The student must pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
Many reputed companies in this field had visited for the placements drive - Viral International, Jaypee Residency Hotel, Qatar Airways, Air Vistara, P and O Cruise (USA), Al Thiqarestaurant Co (Kuwait), Hyatt (USA), Wolf Great Resort (USA), Jubilant (Dominos), Sapphire Foods (KFC), The Grand (New Delhi), The Leela, Zuri Whitefield, Courtyard Marriot, ITC Hotels, Radisson Blu, The Oberoi Cecil etc. It is the best private university with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities, and highly qualified faculty in India. Dear Sameeksha, Yes, LPU is very good for hotel management programme in terms of study and placements, One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT )
Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU :
Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation.
