There are more than 800 colleges in India offering Hotel Management Diploma courses for various specializations. Most colleges offer admissions on a merit basis, however, a few institutions like Pillai Business School, IHMR Bangalore, etc., conduct entrance exams such as CG PPT, NCHMCT JEE, etc.

If you want to pursue a Diploma in Hotel Management, you don't need to worry about your stream in Class 12. Candidates can get admission to a Diploma in Hotel Management course irrespective of their stream. It is a course that prepares you for hospitality operations and event management, thus, it doesn't need a subject specialisation on UG level.
