Curriculum for both is similar, the only difference is that BHM is more of the management of hotel industry and other one is more into tourism service industry.

Hi Debasis,
Both the courses are the same, but they have different names. If you look into the course curriculum, you'll realize that it is 85-90% same. So, why you want to get into the job market a year later and pay fees for an additional year.

Hi,
After completing B.Sc HHA, you can work with any hotel, resort or cruise based on your interview skills and performance. In regards to government jobs, there are a few approaches. Since, this is a graduation course, you are eligible to give the state level exam for postings (such as MPSC, etc.).
You could apply for a job in hotel run by a state level or union level tourism department (Such as GTDC, ITDC, etc.). Since, they are hotels run by the government, working with them can get you a government job as well.
