The hostel at the Oriental School of Hotel Management (OSHM) in Lakkidi, Wayanad is good. OSHM also has a training kitchen and restaurant where students can gain practical experience. The quality of food at hostel mess is also really good. They have a vareity of dishes in their menu.

Looking at industry interface and on the job training, the placement opportunities for B.Voc. students in Hotel Management at Srihari Global IISD Foundation seems quite high. Recent years NIMAS has very good placements for hotel management. The highest package offered was 5 LPA and average package is 4.5 LPA. The college maintained good relationship with several prominent hotels like JW Marriott, ITC hotels which provides internship and job opportunities for candidates.
