The minimum qualification needed to study Hotel Management courses after Class 12 is the completion of the 10+2 level itself. Moreover, the selection of students in government-approved hotel management colleges is done based on entrance tests at the national level. One of the most popular entrance exams to secure admission to an HM course at the graduation level is the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination  (NCHM JEE). NCHMCT JEE is conducted in April, every year. The test comprises MCQ in English, Reasoning Capability, General Science, and General Knowledge.
