B.Sc. In hotel management is traditional graduation, not a full-fledged hotel management course. It is the part of B.Sc. But, BHM is a full-fledged course and it is specially designed for hotel management. Of course, BHM has better scope as after doing it you can work in service industry, tourism sector and even airlines. There are institutes like IIHM, LPU, Amity, IHM that offer world class practical knowledge to their students, both on the campus as well as off the campus. Tech in Food technology is a professional course of 4 years duration and it focuses on various aspects of food technology whereas Bachelor of Hotel Management is an under graduate course of 4 years duration which focuses on the study of various general and technical aspects of hotel management.

Eligibility criteria:Pass with a Bachelor degree, Minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent.

Shortlisting the management institute you want to apply for ( fill up the forms for more than one institute) when admission portals are open apply for online/ offline ( if possible), the institute will give follow up instructions; follow that process. After interaction with the institutes you can decide which one you want admission in.

Packages is dependent on the position in the organisation, for example: As a hotel manager in India the package could be of INR 8 Lacs per year
