There will be an online computer-based test for the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam. With the exception of the English part, all of the questions on the bilingual question paper are available in both Hindi and English. Students are given systems to use during exam attempts, and they must respond to questions on these systems.

The national entrance exam for the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is called NCHMCT JEE. Every year, the National Testing Agency administers the NCHMCT JEE exam on behalf of the NCHMCT. The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology and IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) together offer a three-year Bachelor of Science in HHA program. JB Institute of Hospitality Management shortlists aspirants for MHM programme based on aptitude test conducted by the institute. Selected aspirants are further called for a personal interview round. Besides, candidates must also complete graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate for admission to MHM programme.

The course is a combination of operational, fundamental and technological skills in Hotel Management. Graduates from a recognised college are eligible to apply for MHM programme.
