The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue, the details of some courses are stated below:
Diploma and class 10th cleared from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.
Graduation and PG programs may also require you to appear in entrance exams such as NCHMCT, AIMA UGAT, E-CHAT, etc.

Hi Adwait,
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in Hotel Management course is that a candidate should have completed his/her +2 level of examination from a recognised board with minimum passing marks.
Your age should not exceed more than 22 years at the time of admission, however, 3 years of age relaxation is provided to SC/ST candidates.
You need to appear for the entrance examination to opt for this course. Below, I have mentioned the list of some of the entrance exams.
IIHM entrance exam.
NCHMCT JEE.
Bharati Vidyapeeth University HM Test
Bharati Vidyapeeth University HM Test, etc.

Hi,
It is better to get admission through entrances like NCHMCT, IIHM, etc. as this screening gets you into the top colleges and trains you better and placements are also better. If you really wish to be a trained worker, you should take admission in the best ones.

Hi,
The IIHM eligibility criteria for this entrance exam are as follows:
1. You should have cleared their intermediate or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate.
2. You should have cleared the intermediate or equivalent exam with English as a core subject.
Aspirants, who are pursuing their last year of intermediate studies, also meet the IIHM eCHAT eligibility criteria.
Upper age limit: 22 years as on July 1, 2017.
After clearing IIHM eCHAT, candidates are further shortlisted for admissions on the basis of their performance in the group discussion and personal interview round.

Hi,
The minimum qualification for admission is a pass certificate in the final examination of 12th system or its equivalent.
You must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination.
Those appearing in 12th final or equivalent examination can also appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for being considered on the provisional basis.
Age limit for hotel management course:
22 years for General / PH and 25 years for SC/ST candidates as on 1st July. In the case of Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years.
