This is the section that candidates who are taking entrance exams dread the most because of how unfamiliar the topics are. You must read newspapers and current events magazines regularly and with discipline if you want to excel in this area. Furthermore, you need to be aware of the background information and the underlying principles to comprehend some news. This is how being ready for GK gets much harder. If you practice the English language regularly, you can master it—just not in a single day. There isn't a set way to get ready for this part. To improve your vocabulary, it is recommended that you read the newspaper's editorial section daily. Since this section contains more questions, try to answer as many of them as you can. MAH HM CET does not have negative marking. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded to the candidate but no marks are deducted for wrong answers or unattempted questions. The total marks of HM CET are 100 and candidates need not worry about making incorrect attempt. They must however avoid random selection of options as correct answers. They should take time in understanding the question and then choose the option.
