No, you can't join the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition (IHM) Panipat for a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration without taking the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology's Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE). The NCHMCT JEE is an entrance exam for admission to BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration courses at institutes affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology

For admission in the Craftsmanship Course in Food Production at IHM Hamirpur, one must have passed the 10th standard examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized board. The maximum age for general /obc candidates it’s 25 years of age while for the sc/st candidates the upper age limit is added by three years. Flexibility is also important, and one may be required to produce a medical clearance most of the time. The course is for 1.5 years and is based on the acquisition of practical knowledge on food production processes.
