Yes, if you are interested in hotel management, then there is a big scope in that. Candidates who have completed hotel management have a wonderful career prospect. What do you mean by Hotel Manager? There is nothing called "Hotel Manager" in a 5 star property. They call the over-all In-charge as "General Manager(GM)". Hotel Manager is generally for small hotels where Manager looks after the complete operations. Otherwise, in big hotels, you have separate Managers for all 4 core departments who report to the GM.
If you want to get into a Leadership role, you must have Leadership skill and good communication skills. After joining the MT programme, you gradually move up the ladder.

You don't need to pursue MBA if you want to become a manager in a hotel.
If you are about to complete your 12th, you can appear for NCHMCT Joint Entrance Exam depending upon your rank in NCHMCT you will get an IHM. If you get a good IHM, you just need to study for 3-years BHM and in the 3rd-year, you can sit for placements.
Most of the companies recruit for their Management Trainee Program which in itself is equivalent to Post Graduation in hospitality, the Management Trainee Program prepares you to become a future General Manager. After completion of BHM, you can sit for the campus Interviews for Management Trainee or Apply walk-in in the Hotel's corporate office.
A management Trainee program prepares you for becoming an Assistant Manager after the completion of Training period. If you perform well, you can become a General Manager of a hotel.
