Yes, hotel Management has good scope into roles like sales and Marketing where lot of travelling might be required, the job is interesting and due to rise in hotels and Chain restaurants the demand for course is high.

Petroleum engineering is more theoretical, but hotel management can be interesting and practical. If you want to get better career options, then as per my personal experience, I would suggest you to opt for hospitality, travel and tourism.
There is a lot of scope for hotel management in India, if done from a reputed institution. Hotel industry is on a high demand and has a wide employment opportunities.
