After filling the choices in HSTES counselling, candidates have to lock their choices. Locking choices means candidates have finally filled the choices. Candidates can unlock their choices and can edit, sort the choices in specified time period which is available on key date’s link (choice locking starts, choice locking ends) on the website. Candidate should lock their filled choice for seat allotment result.

Candidates can fill as many choices as they want. To increase the probability of getting a seat, candidates are advised to fillmaximum eligible choices in HSTES counselling.

After the candidates register for HSTES counselling successfully with all the details asked, candidate can also see their eligible choices and can take the print out of them. Number of seats available in an institution will be displayed as per the eligibility/category. The non-availability of a seat in an institute for which a candidate is not eligible will not be displayed to them.

Only those candidates who name appear in the HSTES counselling merit list can participate in the choice filling process. The candidates are required to participate in online counselling on the official website after display of merit list for the eligible candidates as per key dates.

The HSTES counselling BArch merit list is prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of 10+2 and NATA score (percentile) or score (percentile) of any other aptitude test recognized by the COA in the ratio 50:50. For admission to all courses, except for BE/BTech, HSTES will prepare a merit list based on the qualifying exam marks of the candidates. For BE/BTech, admission will be based on JEE Main ranks prepared by NTA. The proper inter-se-merit and ranks shall be displayed on the official website - hstes.org.in, for the candidates to check.

The syllabus for the Online Common Entrance Test (OCET) for BPharmacy is 10+1 and 10+2 (PCM/PCB stream). The test has 90 objective types Multiple Choice of Questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark.

OCET exam is held for  for all the students of 10+2 PCM/PCB streams who are seeking admission to the BPharmacy course. Based on inter-se merit of the candidates in OCET, BPharm seats will be allotted to the candidates via HSTES counselling.

OCET exam is held in computer based test format. The registered candidate must bring two copies of a printout of the admit card with photographs attested by the gazetted officer and one valid Identity (ID) proof having his photograph on it for verification by the invigilator in the OCET 2025 test centre. Candidates are required to bring along with them a copy of their PPP ID if belong to Haryana State. The admit card will be issued online on the official website and candidates can download it using their HSTES login credentials.
