First, I am going to mention all the IIMs. IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Indore, Shillong I. e ABCLIKS (these form the old IIMs). These are the IIMs that are performing the best at present. IIM Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Trichy, Kashipur, Udaipur (these form the new IIMs). These are relatively new as compared to the older IIMs, but are catching up fast under their guidance. IIM Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Bodh Gaya, Amritsar, Sambhalpur, Sirmaur, Jammu (these form the baby IIMs). These are the newest IIMs (just 12 years old) and will need a lot of time to catch up with the other IIMs. Apart from the IIMs, there are a

HR is good in IISWBM but the package is a bit low like 5 LPA or 5.5 LPA. Faculties are excellent.
The curriculum of MBA (HR) is too good.

Hello dear!
It all depends on your calibre, average package doesn't bar any where. This is from studies that the average pay for a Human Resources (HR) Manager is Rs 6L per year & can't say about IILM or any institute.

Go for next MAT or coming year CAT for a healthy score, so that you do not need to ask this. Nobody can predict the situation of placement in an average B School. In our college, the placement officer (whose corporate hold was satisfactory or not bad) suddenly got a better offer and quit our college and we were in unfathomable deep and next one was unable to bring the core job profile and students were foisted in bulk hire and fire profile. So, be clever before investment. Try for a healthy score card and chase tier 1 of MAT/CMAT.
