HR Companies are extremely good that visit the campus. Placements are not all that great. Average placement package for HR is INR 5 Lacs - INR 6 Lacs per annum. For people with work experience, it may maximum go till INR 8 Lacs. Opportunities are extremely good, industry connects are good, and since it is in Bangalore, it shouldn't be an issue to get into a good job. Teaching faculty for HR is also highly qualified, with extreme perfection and industry experienced teachers.

Market is extremely unstable, so we cannot be too certain about the placements based on the average placements. Things may change, first be sure about what stream you want to switch into. Being from an IT industry with 2 years of experience, I found my work extremely monotonous and not challenging enough. So, I decided to pursue Management - HR division. As far as XIME-Bangalore is concerned, the HR department is not booming really well. Nevertheless, things may change over time, so we cannot say anything as the market is very unstable. The teaching faculty, the companies visiting the campus are extremely good. Even the roles offered are pretty good. But, I cannot guarantee a high package in XIME. I am not too sure about IMT-Nagpur, but ROI for HR field is not up to the mark in XIME.

Above are good for sales mainly. Xavearian group colleges are best for HR (Xiss, Xime blore, XiB, Xime Kochi) etc. If you have healthy score card try there first. In our Delhi ncr based so called reputed college HR guys were given hardcore sales profile due to not availability of profile.
