Thanks Mayank for the question. HRM department get the highest salary package every year. This year, the highest package is Rs 14 lakh per annum and the average package is more than Rs 8lakh per annum. 100% placement is achieved every year.

Average placements for HR is Rs 4.5 lakhs and media & communication is Rs 4 lakhs. Highest package goes to Rs 8-9 lakhs for HR and Rs 7-8 lakhs for media and communication.

Top institutes for MBA in HR are TISS, XLRI and IIMs. Yes it is a good decision to opt for HR. If you have prior experience of working with NGOs or any other social activities than TISS is the best institute. Other known institutes are XLRI, SCMHRD, MDI, IIM-Kolkata, SIBM and XISS.
