If you plan to move ahead in research, go for msc otherwise mba as its about management. UK will cost you between 16000 pounds to 70000 pounds with 6 months work visa whereas USA will range between 35-50k dollars with a year visa. Jobs are no guarantee as it depends on your own skills and motivation level.

Yes, see marketing is opted by most of the people in PGDM, because it has a great demand in corporate sector. Companies ran on sales and marketing only, if these sales and marketing people are not there. Not even a single company will be able to learn.
Talking about HR, To be candid it's the least productive department in a company. So choose wisely

The placements for HR was average last year with highest package of 8 LPA and avg CTC of 5.5 LPA. Yes, the dress code rule prevails here like any other management school. where you will need to come in formals from Monday to Thursday and casuals on Friday.

Congrats on your conversion of NMIMS - HR, Also with your wait list, you can very well expect your conversion in days to come. Both colleges are good and have their own advantages. While saying so it may be imprudent on my part to say that one is better than other.
