It is a good decision to do Post Graduate Diploma in human resource management in SCDL (Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning). It will add a great value to your professional career and will also help in enhancing your personality. For doing this, you must have a Bachelors degree or you should be a graduate from any recognised university. There is no as such entrance exam for the same. Degree equivalence letter issued from Association of India Universities (AIU) for graduation completed from an International University is mandatory.

Yes, you can do your PG in HR department, as to do PG course, you must have a Bachelor's degree from any recognised university which you have already. You need to have more than 50 % as your final graduation marks. To be a professional in HR department, you can apply for a course on it. The best human resource management courses after graduation would be a PGDM / MBA as it is highly valuedvin the industry. The PGDM / MBA is offered by autonomous institutes and normal institutes and the institutes can enrich the syllabus depending on what the candidates need today.

As per my understanding, MBA in Human Resources is a very demanding profession and the demand is likely to increase over time. All the top companies across industries such as FMCG, IT, consulting, etc. , visit the campus for placements. In our batch, almost everyone got placed by the end of the session. I don't remember the exact placement percentage. The lowest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the highest went up to 1 crore per annum
