XIMB accepts NMAT score and You can get into XaHR (Human Resource), Xavier School of Rural Management (RM), Xavier School of Sustainability Management (some) only through your NMAT score. Generally, the cutoff for XIMB is above 180 as seen from previous years cutoffs analysis. But, you may still stand a chance of receiving a call and getting yourself converted at XIHR which is also a part of Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) as the cutoff of XIHR goes at low as 155 since last two years.

XIMB HR cutoff requires an NMAT score in the range of 190-200 and a VA score in the range of 87 percentile and above. What that percentile converts for a score is debatable but anything in the range of 70's is safe enough. The above information is only to give you an idea regarding the cutoff. It may vary year to year but past trends have helped me make this educated guess. XIMB is a sister institution of XLRI and is one of the most well known B-schools in the country. XIMB has made a niche for itself in management education by dint of its excellent track record and orientation. The XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar) re

The difference is very fundamental. An MBA gives one a thorough grounding in all aspects of the business profession. An individual may concentrate in a particular area, but will still be required to take a certain number of core courses in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, MS and management. Electives will be used for your concentration. In the MS in HRM degree you will spend all your time on the principles of HR, from org design, to training, to everything else the HR profession covers. Are you a business major? If not, you will be required to take leveling courses to get you up to speed. If your undergraduate degree is in ma

SIIB is a good college and the placements are improving every year as can be seen from certain stats and the reviews of the students pursuing courses in the stated Institute. But there are better colleges as well. You can try in IIFT BHU, DU. I think these colleges can give you better exposure but you need proper scores as well in the asked management exams to get in these but yes you can take SIIB into consideration as well because it's a good college at the end of the day and if you get finance as your specialisation then it's perfect because it is better as compared to the other specialisations.
