Further, you get to work with a lot of International Organisations including UN and World Bank. Pursuing a diploma or certificate course would help you with the enriching and invaluable knowledge you need in the subject and work beyond boundaries.

Talking of the scope and the reasons why I believe both the two fields of law have a scope in their own fields.
Both, the environmental law and humanitarian law have been a cause of action, and we get to see a number of contemporary issues regarding them for eg. Rohingya crisis these days is one such instance falling within humanitarian law. Also, the smog caused by factories nearby Delhi, falls within Environmental laws.
Also, there have been various known matters with regard to environment taken up by Medha Patkar, while Narmada Bachao Andolan and M.C Mehta also.
Also, for humanitarian laws killing of civilians in Kashmir, surgical strikes etc. fall within the ambit of humanitarian laws.
Thus, there arise a number of issues pertaining to both set of laws.
Also, owing to industrialization as well as globalization, the scope of cause of action arising in both the fields is very likely. It would be a matter of choice for an individual to go for practicing in humanitarian law or environmental law and believe me you would not repent your decision of taking up either of them.

A career in law demands good communication skills writing, speaking and listening skills, a sense of responsibility, sympathetic attitude and patience. It was to attract talented youngsters to law that the Bar Council of India introduced the five-year integrated degree course in the subject. The aim is to train, in a comprehensive manner, brilliant students who have completed Plus Two for careers in law. Three-year LLB courses are also offered to graduates in any discipline.
After the successful completion of the degree course in law, higher qualification such as LLM and Ph.D or LLD can be secured. The areas of specialisation in this field are many civil law; criminal law; international law; labour law; Constitutional law; mercantile law; administrative law; law of taxation; cyber law and so on. A number of law colleges and universities offer courses in these areas.
