There are more than 30 colleges that are affiliated with Assam University and offer BA courses in various specialisations. The the highest number of BA seats are offered by Janata College. The seat intake is 5,090. This college offers BA courses in several specialisations such as Hindi, Political Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, etc.

As per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission at Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University for BA. The university shortlists prospective students based on their Class 12 merit. In addition to meeting the course-specific eligibility criteria, applicants are required to score well in the last qualifying exam to secure a seat for a BA at Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University (SRKU).

Assam University BA courses are offered through many affiliated colleges/institutions. These affiliated colleges offered BA courses for the duration of three to four years and offered in various specialisations, such as Political Science, English, History, etc. Additionally, university-affiliated colleges offer BA courses in full-time and part-time modes of study. At the time of filling out the application form, candidates can choose the college and BA specialisation according to their preferences.
