I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - Mohali Campus ll accept NATA Exam, 50% in 10+2 exam for admission in B.Arch. CBSE 12th and PSEB 12th exams are accepted by this university.

For pursuing B.Tech at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - Mohali Campus II, a student must have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate from a recognised board (CBSE). The college also accepts the score obtained from the JEE Main examination. 

As IKGPTU is a Premier State Government Institute, the fees (per semester) is on the medium side (Not too high, not too low) if we relate it to other colleges who offers courses in IT, Architecture and Planning etc. Per semester fee is around 52K and the course duration is 5 years (10 semesters). Though, it's average package for this programme is upto 7 - 8 lacs at Mohali Campus II and it can go upto 16.5 - 17 lacs per annum. 

PTU admission 2024-25 tentative last date to apply is 31 March 2024. IK Gujral Punjab Technical University has provided admission for UG, PG, and Diploma courses with specializations. Access is based on the entrance exam.

Oncampus Placement opportunities are limited as only 65% of toal batch was placed with average package of 5.5 LPA. The highest was 12 LPA offered by Zscalar, and majority of companies were mass recuiters like TCS, Infosys, HCL etc. but still Off campus opportunities are open, Last year some studnets got offcampus selections in Zomato and Paytm. A large chunk of students used to opted for Higher Studies. 

Placement wise the Mohali campus ll of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University is not so good. The highest package offered last year was INR 12 LPA by Zscalar. InTotal 8 Students got the highest placement in the same company.
