The prelims syllabus of RBI Assistant and IBPS Clerk is almost similar. The level of RBI Assistant is tough due to less number of vacancies. The level of the prelims exam for both the exams is easy. In Mains exam, IBPS Clerk have both Reasoning and Computers as a single section but in RBI Assistant exam these are separate sections. This means, candidates need to separately clear both of them. No, the syllabus for the IBPS Clerk and PO exams are not the same. The syllabus for the IBPS Clerk exam includes topics such as Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness, while the syllabus for the IBPS PO exam includes additional topics such as Computer Knowledge and Marketing Aptitude.
