To score 70 in IBPS PO exam, candidates need to work continously on improving speed and accuracy. The selection of questions for every topic is important. There's no one particular strategy that candidates can blindly follow for scoring high in IBPS PO exam. Go through the chapters given in the syllabus as the questions in the exam are based on it.

IBPS PO selection process comprises prelims exam, Mains exam and ssb interview. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature and the marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam and interview. Provisional allotment of candidates is done based on merit.

Depending on the final vacancies to be filled during the financial year and based on the business needs of the banks, selected candidates are provisionally allotted to one of IBPS PO participating banks. To crack PO exam you need to clear Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Then the final selection is based on combined performance of the candidate in the main examination and the interview. IBPS PO educational qualification is a Degree/Graduation in any discipline from a university recognised by the government. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

IBPS PO Dearness Allowance (DA) is given to the employees is based on the percentage of the basic salary  (In January 2016, it was around 39.8 per cent of the basic salary, which was reduced to 23.87 per cent as on November 2017). The DA is revised  This every three months based on the All India Consumer Price Index Data published by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, Government of India.

The revision of IBPS PO salary for bank employees was approved to be effective from November 2017 under the 11th bipartite settlement. The revised salary is valid for a span of five years till 2023 or until revised by the government. Nearly 8.8 Lakhs employees are benefiting from the approval of the 11th bipartite settlement.

IBPS PO final result 2023 was announced on April 1, 2024. The result has been announced on the official website. However, the direct link to check the result is provided on this page. Selection of candidates for final appointment was done based on merit-cum-preference. Candidates need to satisfy the eligibility prescribed by the participating banks.

IBPS PO final cut off 2023 was released on April 1, 2024. The cut off was released category-wise and state-wise. To announce IBPS PO final cut off, the marks are normalised out of 100. Based on the final cut off, candidates are selected for final appointment. The final allotment of candidates are done based on the merit-cum-preference. The examination authority announces maximum and minimum cut off marks for final selection.

IBPS PO exam dates are announced along with the notification. The exam dates announced by the examination authority are considered as final and cannot be rescheduled. IBPS reserves the right to change the exam date of IBPS PO. The exam is conducted in three phases-prelims, Mains and interview. The prelims and Mains exams are conducted in multiple shifts. The details regarding IBPS PO exam dates and shift timings are mentioned in the admit card.
