Taking coaching is a very subjective call.
Coaching is your personal call. The deal is how good are you in reasoning, aptitude and English. These are major sections on which IBPS exam is based, though other sections such as general awareness and computer. If your fundamentals regarding these three major subjects are clear and have the required speed, the exam is easy to crack. General awareness and computer is comparatively easy and can be prepared in 3-4 months. But you will need to be disciplined in practicing mock papers and old question papers.

I can understand your confusion. See nowadays both have same and good demand but it totally depends on your choice. But if possibly you should opt for MBA, because it gives you overall knowledge and time for specific field, where banking will become limited to itself only.

It all depends on the kind of career goals you have and where do you finally want to land up. The major difference between these two are: In the Bank PO exam, you will get into the banking sector and in SSC, you will get into central government services.
Further, both exams have different selection procedure and parameter for recruiting into various services. In SSC-CGL, the focus is mainly on English and aptitude in the mains stage while prelims the needle points towards GK, reasoning, aptitude & English. It totally depends on your own interst. Some of the top MNC companies will provide high payscale for graduates of MBA finance sector than that of IBPS employees. So, consider to take CAT coaching. If you want to work in a bank then totally focus on IBPS coaching and grab a job. RACE and T.I.M.E are some of the best coaching centres.
