The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview is not less than 40 per cent (35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). The relative weightage given to the Mains exam and Interview for the provisional allotment is 80:20 respectively for the Officers cadre. The combined final score of candidates is arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the Mains for the post of Officers Scale I and in the Single Level Examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process is not disclosed. Candidates should qualify both in the Mains exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process. The provisional allotment is done based on merit-cum-preference. For Officers in Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment is restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for.In the event of two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit order is decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before/ above the candidate junior in age), as per the prevailing practice

IBPS RRB Clerk Mains result 2023 was announced on January 1, 2024 by IBPS. The marks obtained in the Mains exam are considered for provisional allotment. No interview is conducted for the post. To check IBPS RRB Clerk Mains result, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The Mains exam of IBPS RRB Clerk comprises-Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 200. The duration of the test is two hours. The test paper of the Mains exam carries a total of 200 questions. To prepare the provisional allotment list, the marks of the candidates are converted out of 100. 

IBPS RRB PO 2023 Mains result was announced on September 25, 2023. The Mains exam of IBPS RRB PO comprises five sections-Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 200. The test paper carries a total of 200 questions. The duration of the test is two hours. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are called for the interview. The marks obtained in the Mains exam are considered for the final merit list. Candidates need to check the result online by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. IBPS RRB PO Mains result displays the qualifying status of candidates for the interview.

The mains exam of IBPS RRB is conducted across 70 cities for candidates who qualify the prelims exam. Candidates are required to enter their preferences of exam cities for the mains exam while filling the application form.
