Definitely, no. There are so many students who join CA after completing their graduation and as there is no age bar for doing CA, therefore, you can directly apply for CA intermediate after completing your graduation through direct entry route.

Both the courses are same, as the name of the institution changed from ICWAI (Institution of cost and works Accountant of India) to ICAI (Institution of Cost Accountant of India) and referring as CMA. Thanks.

Hi,
CMA is a course offered by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWAI). It is a course alternate to CMA and has the same value as CA but when compared to it, CMA has more subjects on cost, management accounting, etc.

Hi, if you are in 2nd year of class 12th, you can apply for CPT now, but I think last date for upcoming December term has been closed, but you may still apply for next June or December term exam before March 2019. All the best.

Appear for May 2019 CA-Foundation Examination, one has to get himself registered with ICAI on or before 31st December, 2018. However, registration can be done only after the student has appeared for class 12th examination i.e. after giving their class 12th board exams.
