Hi,
Thanks for A2A.
Yes CAs are most eligible to become CEOs. There are many in public and private sectors like Mr Rameswar Thakur, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mr. Shekhar Kapoor and many more CAs are CEOs.
The training and experience gained through CA route are very helpful when stepping up to CEO position. But being CEO is not an easy job. It requires extra qualities like people management, managerial skills e.t.c.
As pointed out in the earlier answer a CEO must be a clear visionary, an excellent communicator and most importantly a good strategist.

Both are good and I am not being diplomatic, I mean it. Syllabus coverage of both the courses is excellent and standard of questions asked in exams are also very good. If you are looking for starting a firm then CA has more scope then CMA for now but the scope for CMA for practice is also going to increase with GST coming into action. 1. CS, CMA (CWA) and C A - All 3 are almost highest and separate accreditations in their respective fields.
2. However, comparison is a common practice.
3. In general, CS is relatively theory, law based and CWA is more calculative based select upon your level of interests.

Hi Tamanna,
The mainstay courses for commerce students are CA, CS and CMA.

Hi Lokesh,
B.Com with majors in accounting and finance is the course which you get to do if you are a student of ICAI.
You need to give only 6 papers with IGNOU and when you complete your CA inter and the training as per CA curriculum, you will be able to get the graduate degree.
The course fees is Rs 4800 for the whole duration, exam fees extra.
The minimum duration is 3-years and the maximum time allowed is 6 years to complete the course.
Feel free to revert.
All the best!
