IBS Hyderabad, Jaipur and Dehradun provides the degree of MBA but IBS Gurgaon provides a PGPM degree. By PGPM, I mean to say that it is an autonomous programme which is simply a combination or include the components of both MBA and PGDM. In addition to that, it is also according to the current trends of an industry. The answer to your question is-No. The affiliation won't be an obstacle at the time of placements-Whether through campus or off campus. At the same time, there is an exception of the same. If you want to go for the govt job or for a Ph.D., then in that case, you need to acquire an MBA degree for which there is a different p

Congratulations on your success. You have cleared your first phase. Your second phase will be to strive for the best placements that visit in the campus. For that you need to focus more on the practical knowledge rather than theoritical. In addition to that, your skills and your work experience(If you have any) matters a lot at the time of placements. Your CGPA won't help you for that matter. Although, you need to maintain the same at a certain level as it is required for the selection criteria by the companies at the time of placements. That's all I can say about your query regarding IBS Gurgaon. I hope I answered your question. Secon

All campuses are good. But If you are curious about a particular college, then I must tell you that after IBS Hyderabad, IBS Gurgaon and Mumbai are the colleges which are being preferred by most of the students. The reason for the same is that since Mumbai is a financial capital where job opportunities are more as compared to any other city in India, as of now. On the other hand, If you talk about Gurgaon, it is a hub for many reputed companies like Apollo tyres, BMW, Continental, Sapient and many others. Secondly, the companies that visit in IBS Hyderabad do visit in all the other campuses of the ICFAI Business School. The only differ

Dear Manish,
Instead of IBS Gurgaon or Bangalore you should try for IBS Hyderabad coz no other IBS campus is that much reputed as the Hyderabad campus,

Yes IBS Mumbai is a very good college. The PGPM degree will not make much of a difference as the brand name of IBS is really good.IBS Mumbai is especially a good option if you are interested in pursuing MBA in finance. For marketing IBS Gurgaon will be a better option.

Getting opportunity in the top 10 colleges like IIM's, MDI, Christ, IBS Hyderabad etc. is a dream come true for the students. These colleges not only provide degree but also an exposure which is as per the current trends of an industry. Although all the colleges have their own merits and demerits. You have to choose a particular college on the basis of your preferences such as location, fees, merit, value addition, Return on investments, Placements etc. Apart from this, college alone cannot help you to achieve your desired goals. Your skills and your knowledge also matters a lot. That's all I can say right now. It's ultimately your dec

On the payment of Rs. 25,000, you will be awarded with a degree of an MBA from IBS Gurgaon. As I keep telling other students, IBS Hyderabad, Jaipur and Dehradun provides the degree of MBA and IBS Gurgaon provides a PGPM degree. You can pursue the two at the same time since the examinations of an MBA will be held in the month of June/July/December/January every year and are conducted on Online/Computer based test mode. As far as your query regarding the two courses is concerned, the examinations for the two will not clash at the same time since the examinations for the pgpm will held in the month of August and December(Mid terms) and Se

From the college itself. There will be no difference as far as company and placements are concerned. Companies visiting the campuses are least bothered about the degree or diploma an individual is holding. All they(company) is interested in various traits such as skills, hard work, smart work, innovation, complete involvement, ownership and managing things in an effective and efficient manner. Apart from corporates, in case of government jobs, degree of MBA is a must. In addition to that, If an individual wants to go for Ph.D., the degree of same is required. That's the only difference between the two and no other difference exists as

Placement cell of any college is not different from one another as the duties and responsibilities are same for all the students. As a placement representative, I have not heard that there is a difference between a placement cell of IBS campuses. Although the functioning may differ from one another. Adding value to a college is something you must strive for. Not only placement cell, but there are certain other cell like Student counseling, Intern ship cell etc. do play an important role in order to provide value to the same. Difference lies in the way the students represent their skills and commitment towards their college.
