It is not compulsory to have AICTE certification for the college because when you are joining a corporate world they look for MBA graduates and it doesn't matter for the companies whether the institution is AICTE approved or not . Only thing which matters most to the companies is that the college's brand value and the potential a student has in him or her as a MBA personnel. Many AICTE approved institutes sometimes are not able to deliver potential students and proper placements for the companies and students as well. Joining a private company doesn't require AICTE certification but joining a government job definitely requires AICTE ce

Yes, I will definitely recommend IBS Mumbai to people who are keen to join a B School because I have seen the placement records of college. It is fantastic and majority of the candidates are happy with the placement cell department of the college. Every candidate's ultimate aim is to get good placements and at least with an average package. Secondly the studies and the curriculum of the college is also unique as compared to other B schools. No other B school provides 3 and half months internship except for IBS. IBS focuses on the overall development of an individual personally and more widely professionally.

The sectional cut off varies every year based on the percentile score decided by the institute. There are high chances of you getting admission as college always want those students who are keen or enthusiastic in doing management program. You just need to apply through www.ibsindia.org or visit IBS Mumbai - Hiranandani knowledge park, near Dr. LH Hiranandani Hospital, Powai and fill in the required application form for admission then you will be called for Group discussion and Personal Interview round either to IBS Mumbai or IBS Hyderabad and based on your performance in GDPI and scores based on your SSC, HSC & Graduation, you will be

The best quality of IBS is that it even has case study evaluation as a part of the curriculum, other than just the normal syllabus. If you get admission there then your future would be definitely secured provided that you will work hard in academics. If you are a hard working person and want to make a career with either Finance, Marketing or HR then I think so you will definitely get placed in a good company. As I said earlier that big corporate and Giants like L & T , ITC Hotels, Nestle, Berger Paints, Asian Paints , TCS , JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte, Crisil, ICICI Bank and Securities, Kotak Bank and Securities visit every year.

If you have given CAT, NMAT, CMAT etc. These scores are also accepted by the college but I will recommend you to give IBSAT to be on safe side.

Yes, definitely, IBS is well known for its syllabus in finance. If you compare the syllabus of IBS in first year and even for second year finance specialization, it is very much similar to CFA intermediate and final level. Even many foreign Institutional Investors like JP Morgan Chase, Capgemini, Bank of America - Myrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley visits IBS for final placements. Other good finance companies which visits IBS are Deloitte, Crisil, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI securities for multiple profiles, Kotak securities, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Transparent Value, Seimens, and lot more.
