The insitute accepts the exam scores of ILSAT (PG), a compute based test (CBT) conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad. Based on their performance in the entrance exam, applicants are called for a personal interview. The final selection is based on the applicant's performance in the admission test and personal interview. The programme is extended in the hybrid mode to provide flexibility to the professionals. To be eligible for the professional LLM course at ICFAI Law School, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:Graduation in five-year (integrated)/three-year law or equivalent degree recognised by The Bar Council of India, with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPACandidates must have enrolled themselves as an advocate for at least one year and should have a working experience of a minimum of 2 years in any law firm or corporate legal departmentCandidates must have qualified the ILSAT (PG) conducted by ICFAI Law School, IFHE, Hyderabad.

To be eligible to take admission at ICFAI Law School for the full-time LLM programme, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:Graduation in five-year (integrated) or three-year law degree (LLB/BA LLB/BBA LLB) or an equivalent degree recognised by The Bar Council of India, with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPACandidates appearing for the final year examination and awaiting results are eligible to apply for provisional admission.
