ICSI Exam

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, constituted under the Company Secretaries Act of 1980, is a government-recognized body that produces Company Secretaries in India. The course of Company Secretaryship was introduced in 1960 by the Company Law Board. ICSI begins the CS Executive, Professional exam enrollment soon after the declaration of results. Candidates willing to appear for the ICSI CS Dec 2024 session must enroll for the exam on or before the last date. Candidates will be required to pay the examination fee per module. ICSI CS Executive exam registration is ongoing, for the June 2025 session (both modules). CS Executive 2025 registration is open throughout the year for the exam conducted in June and December. 

ICSI CS Professional admit card June 2025 will be released tentatively on May 22, 2025. After downloading CS Professional admit card, candidates must verify the details mentioned on the hall ticket. Candidates are advised to check the following details: Candidate name Photograph Signature Registration Number Stage and Module (s) of examination enrolled for Examination centre Medium of examination Dates and Timing of the examination Details of paper wise granted Elective subject (in case of professional programme old and new syllabus) In case of any discrepancy in the ICSI CS Professional admit card, candidates must immediately report on the support porat- support.icsi.edu

ICSI will grant exemptions to only such candidates who have completed certain professional or academic requirements. Such qualifications must be recognized by ICSI, and the exact requirements of exclusions are given in the ICSI prospectus. A candidate who obtains more than 60 percent in any paper or papers and a minimum of 25 percent in all the remaining papers of that module in which he/she has appeared shall be exempted from appearing in that paper in the subsequent examinations.You may be eligible for exemptions depending on professional qualifications you already hold, including those from other professional bodies. ICSI usually stipulates the relevant degree and the exemption to be awarded.
