CSEET or Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for admission to the CS Executive programme. If you are applying for CSEET after graduation, here is the process you need to follow:
Register on the ICSI website: Visit the official website of ICSI and register for CSEET by providing your personal and academic details. Pay the application fee: After registration, you need to pay the CSEET application fee through online mode using net banking, debit card or credit card. Download the CSEET admit card: Once your application is processed and accepted by ICSI, you will be able to download your CSEET admit card from the official website. Prepare for CSEET consists of four papers, I. e. , Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs. You need to prepare for these papers by referring to the official CSEET study material provided by ICSI. Take the CSEET exam: On the day of the CSEET exam, you need to carry your admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam center. The exam is conducted online and consists of multiple-choice questions. Qualify for the CS Executive programme: Once you clear the CSEET exam, you will be eligible for admission to the CS Executive programme. Before planning to start the preparation, the candidates must know about the exam details, patterns, and syllabus of the CS Executive. Medium of Exam: English and Hindi. The ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India), constituted under the Company Secretaries ACT of 1980, is a government-recognised body that produces Company Secretaries in India. The course of Company Secretaryship was introduced in 1960 by the CLB (Company Law Board). The Institute of Company Secretaries of India was created in 1968 and took over from the Company Law Board to conduct the exam.
