The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in India is held in two formats - the IELTS Paper-delivered method and the IELTS Computer-delivered method. The IELTS paper-delivered test is held 48 times a year, up to 4 times in a given month, mostly on Thursdays and Saturdays. The IELTS Computer-delivered test is held seven days a week and up to 3 times a day to accommodate the large number of candidates looking to take the test. Candidates can check our IELTS Exam Dates page to know the next IELTS Exam date or visit the official IDP IELTS website to register for the IELTS exam.
