IELTS Scores

Every University has a different set of requirements and its own set of guidelines for giving admissions. In addition to this, candidates also match the other eligibility requirements set by university or educational institutions where they are planning to enroll. However, as per previous trends majority of renowned educational institutes across the world require IELTS total score 7.0 band with section scores of 6.5 band as eligibility criteria. In Canada you can get student visa with this criterion. In US, California University of Pennsylvania, Ohio University North Dakota state University etc. In UK too 6.0 to 6.5 band is accepted in universities but to take admission in Oxford University 7.0 band requires. So, in general if you want to take admission in average and above average Universities your score is well but for top institutes like Oxford, you need to get 7.0 band score.
