Yes, it is required. Good TOEFL (minimum of 90) or IELTS (minimum of 6.5) scores for applicants whose medium of instruction at the Bachelor's or Master's level was not in English. SMU's TOEFL institution code is 9014. Please note that test scores (both TOEFL or IELTS) obtained within 2 years from the test taken will be accepted.
