To apply for Western Sydney University admission, you must meet the English language requirements, and applicants must meet the IELTS score to be accepted. The University of Waterloo admission is based on the English language proficiency test score submitted by the candidate. The minimum overall score required for IELTS is 7.0 and the minimum overall score required for TOEFL is 90, for the University of Waterloo.

Applicants who require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK must meet the minimum English Language requirements to meet the UKVI regulations. For applicants to UG or PG courses, the minimum requirement is 5.5 in all four skills of IELTS, or equivalent in other qualifications. Other than IELTS, Queen Mary also accepts TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English and Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English (ISE).
