Hi,
The admissions are not done on the basis of IELTS scores. Your overall band is indeed low, however you need to mention your education background, scores and what you intend to study. There are bridge courses offered by the universities, which you can enroll into.

Hi Pushkar,
If you are planning for MBA, you need to have work experience. Backlogs are not recommended for any top ranked B-School such as HEC but if your overall profile is outstanding then such failures can easily be surpassed. Please mention what you want to pursue.

Hi,
You can apply and you will find quite a few options, but not any top ranked university. You must also check IELTS score requirement as most of them require overall 6.5, otherwise do a bridging course.

Hi,
You can take either of these two but IELTS scores are more popular. Check with the universities if they have any particular preference, normally they accept either of these. So, it's a decision you need to take.

Hi,
MS programs are competitive and especially if you are applying to a research based program. Your grades are fine however admissions committee will also consider your reference letters, personal statement, GRE scores and overall application. Chances could be high if you work on your overall profile, visit university websites before applying.

Hi Pankaj,
Many universities abroad can waive off the IELTS if you completed your prior education from an English speaking school and if your profile is very good. On the other hand many universities also provide pathway programs. You must check the university websites and email them. Every university has different requirements. You must also decide the country choice.

There is no rule for the type of work experience. You may work in a bank or even in a research organization. Your nature of work will be important. Your contribution to the team or company, your leadership skills, communication and team work skills and managerial skills will be important.
