Hi Joel, for almost all MS programs in US you must take GRE alongwith TOEFL or IELTS. You must meet the admission requirements strictly to seek admission in any good university in US.

Overall 5.5 is pretty low. Check for pathway programs. Universities abroad have special programs for international students not meeting IELTS or TOEFL requirements. You must enroll into such a course.

Not bad scores. Try UBC, York and Toronto. But keep safe options such as university of Alberta, University of Calagary. It also matters a lot that you have work experience or not, if yes then how many years and which field.

There is no such country, sorry! Academics are evaluated and mandatory. If it is worrying you so much then visit college websites and check for the admission requirements. There might be colleges and programs and TAFE institutes accepting 50%. Best of Luck.

You don't need to join any coaching institute for GRE. Just get some good books, work hard on your english. Increase you vocabulary, spend some time on practising maths. After GRE, appear for TOEFL.Refer to the following website:
edulix.com. It is called Bible of GRE.
All the best

It depends on your university. Some universities demand 6.5 aggregate (and more) with not less than 6 in individual bands.

Yes, basically most universities have their semesters from winter, if you appear in November for TOEFL then you can get the universities starting from summer.
