There is no age limit for IELTS, so you can take the test now or whenever you are ready. For options in your desired area of study, you may refer to the lists on Shiksha website. Please use the filter to change your preferences. For eligibility criteria, you must check with the individual colleges directly.

About 3 years back a student of mine had got admitted to the UK after having done his BCom from Karnataka open university, however, the UK University had written and asked the KOU to send their attested copies of his transcripts directly to them and the student had to go to the KOU and pay them the required fee to get it done. I am not sure with Canada and Australian institutions about this, suggest you check directly with the Universities you intend to apply to, send a mail to the International Admissions office id can be got from the Universities website. GRE and IELTS preparation will take considerable amount of time , around 3- 6 months if you have not started preparing. You must decide the date as per your convenience and university deadline. Keep sufficient time for the visa process. Keep in mind that GRE scores are valid for 5 years and IELTS score valid for 2 years.
