It's an open university. So, the minimum qualification to think for IGNOU is dependent on your age & education degree. Yes, there is no degree to do class 10/12 from this university but you may do BPP (6 months) which is equivalent as 10+2 for IGNOU only. Afterwards, you can do a normal bachelor degree that will be perfect through which you can apply for any graduate level exam too. You can apply for it because you fulfill the eligibility criteria.

In india,
1. Finance jobs are restricted to marketing of financial products.
2. KPOs like Deloitte, Ocwen, Nationstar, Socgen, DB, J P Morgan, Anz, etc. will make you to work like hell with too much pressure and don't pay good packages until the person is from a reputed college.
3. Majority of the jobs are either mid or night shift and life is completely ruined by it when it comes to personal life
4. Market has reached the top line threshold where it does not require more MBA finance guys in future as most if the companies are automating work. This will reduce job opportunity in next 5 years.

Hi Krishan,
Completion of 10+2 or High School Senior Secondary exam by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or equivalent.
A minimum score of 50% aggregate at 10+2 level.
English as a subject at HSC, is the eligibility criteria for BA. If you meet the above mentioned requirements, then you can proceed with BA.

There are two aspect of this question. One is around IGNOU and another is around distance education. IGNOU is trusted and accredited government distance education university. They are approved by UGC, AICTE both. So there is no question of the validity of degree awarded by IGNOU now or in future. Second aspect is around distance education. Yes it is true that degrees from open universities not considered for all types of jobs or vacancies. 10 15 years earlier, most of government jobs demand about regular courses. Hi,
The eligibility criteria to apply for IGNOU B.Ed Admission is mentioned below:
At least 50% percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, And
Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Or
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme in direct mode. You are not eligible with your graduation marks. You can apply after M.Com if you fulfill the criteria.

IGNOU B.A. Admission 2019 The Indira Gandhi National Open University offers admission to B.A. Programme in both January and July
So, you have to apply for entrance exam in July.
