Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree or a higher degree from a recognised University.Fee Structure for MA in English at IGNOU:Rs.13,200/- for the full programme to be paid year wise.Rs. 6,600/- for each year.Fee to be paid in the first year is Rs. 6800/- including a registration fee of Rs. 200.The aim of the Master’s Degree Programme in English (MEG) is to give learners a sound basis in language as well as a deep understanding of Literatures such as American, British, Indian English Literature, and New Literatures, such as, Canadian, and Australian, with the option to specialise in a particular area of interest. The course is very usefull for teaching jobs and other corporate jobs like copywriter/ advertising/ marketing.You can pursue B.Ed after that.
