For getting admission in IGNOU for B.Ed, you have to appear for the entrance test conducted by IGNOU and now it has become necessary to have a Diploma in education to appear in the entrance examination and also candidate has to secure at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree  or Master's degree

You can pursue a Ph.D. after earning an M.Com. provided that your degree has been authorised by the IGNOU or the Distance Education Council. The Ph.D. programme requires at least a post-graduate degree to be admitted. Both the conventional course and the remote learning option for the Ph.D. are available. You must have a PG grade of at least 50%. The course lasts for three years, and the tuition is Rs. 16800.
