To apply for admission, visit the IGNOU's official website and navigate to the "IGNOU admission" portal. You have to simply type "IGNOU admission" to go on the official admission portal. Here, you have to click on the new registration tab to register for admission. To get admission into the Certificate in Adolescent Health and Counseling (CAHC) programme, you need to have a Bachelor's degree. Also, you can apply without a graduation degree if you are a teacher who is teaching in a primary, middle, secondary, or higher secondary school. The fee is Rs. 2000, and the registration fee is Rs. 300 for this six-month course.

There is no restriction being posed by RBI for Distance or Open Learning students, that they cannot apply. Any citizen of India who aspires to apply for RBI Grade B can do so after fulfilling the minimum eligibility requirements for the desired post. IGNOU graduate can crack any exam including IAS and RBI Grade B if he is intelligent. Coming to hard fact, IGNOU and Open Universities are too liberal and follow the policy of ALL PASS. Obviously the level of knowledge is low, he /she has to do more hard work.

No, if you want to take the next exam cycle, you must fill out the exam form and pay the exam fee again. The IGNOU authorities conduct exams in two sessions: July and December. Therefore, you have the opportunity to appear in the exam twice a year. If you missed an exam during one session, you can retake it during another. However, you must fill out an exam form separately and pay the required exam fee for each paper you are appearing in.

Yes, a Ph.D. from IGNOU is considered valid by UGC. This is because, despite being an open university, IGNOU offers a Ph.D. in regular and part-time modes. A Ph.D. is considered valid only if it is pursued in regular or part-time mode at a recognised university. The IGNOU is recognised by the UGC and offers PhDs in regular and part-time modes, so it is valid. Also, IGNOU requires you to pass an entrance exam or NET to apply for admission to the Ph.D. course. Therefore, after getting your Ph.D. from IGNOU you can apply for a job like a lectureship.

Yes, in most cases, the Indira Gandhi National Open University IGNOU courses are given the same weight as regular courses. You can apply for government jobs like IAS CDS or SSC with your IGNOU graduate degree. Also, most of the colleges accept an IGNOU degree for admission to their master's courses. However, some companies, government jobs, and universities exclusively ask for a regular degree. Your IGNOU degree might not be considered valid because it is a distance degree. Therefore, you must carefully check the career that you want to pursue before applying to IGNOU.

It depends on the PSU for which you are working. You need to have permission in the form of a NOC to pursue any course for additional qualification, according to service rules at the majority of PSUs. This applies to correspondence courses as well, and you need to have a prior NOC to register at IGNOU. PSUs typically encourage their employees to obtain additional credentials so they can advance in their careers and be eligible for promotions. Therefore, you can get a NOC to pursue a course at IGNOU.

IGNOU is an open university that offers distance education courses. It has a maximum duration until you can complete a particular course.
