Yes, a candidate can take direct admission to Certificate Courses at IGNOU Regional Centre Ahmedabad. The walk-in-admission facility is provided by the university for all Certificate Programmes. A candidate can thus apply at any time during office hours. The admission for these courses is available for the whole year. However, there is a separate period for receipt of filled-in application forms for a particular session. This is June 1 to November 30 for the January session, and December 1 to May 31 for the July session. Application Form and other details can be obtained from the IGNOU Website.

Although the centre is offering a range of support services, including a placement cell, the volume of placement opportunities may vary based on factors like course one is studying, job market conditions, performance of the student, and so on. It is up to a student to seek out job opportunities and make use of whatever is provided at the centre.
